Filter Regulator Lubricators: Some pneumatic devices within the system operate frequently enough that they require lubrication. This is accomplished by the FRL. A light oil is placed in the lubricator bowl. When the device is actuated a fine spray of oil is added to the compressed air as it passes through the FRL. A SAE 10 weight oil is recommended for this application.
